In 2024 two surveys were carried out in the Bennachie Community Council Area to see what residents views were.
848 people responded to the main survey and 48 people responded to the young peoples 13 to 19 year old survey.

From the results of these surveys and validation events the Community Action Plan was produced.

​Local Place Plan
95% of the people who replied to the Community Action Plan said they wanted a Local Place Plan. A plan for the whole Bennachie Community Council Area is being worked on and you will hear more about this soon.
Place plans are basically maps which show how we see the land being used in the future. Whether its for houses, green spaces or industrial areas.
